Buxly Boiler Compound – 1 is an anti-corrosive coating for internal surfaces of boiler drums in contact with hot water. It resists heat up to 550°C. It can be used for condensers, air coolers, water tanks (not for drinking), centrifugal pumps, boiler drums, chimneys, structural steel, ducting etc.
Normally no separate primer is necessary. Apply at least two coats of Buxly Boiler Compound–1 by brush, working first coat well into surface. Do not apply heavy coats. It is advisable to allow 24 hours between coats and a minimum 24 hours after complete application to allow system to harden. Adequate ventilation must be provided at all times.
