Buxly Boiler Compound – 3 is specially recommended for exterior surfaces of boiler which are exposed to indirect dry heating to maximum 250°C. It can be applied on exterior surfaces of boilers, chimneys, air coolers, condensers etc.
No separate primer is necessary. Apply first coat (direct to clean steel) and work well into the surface and ensure all corners, edges, welds, nuts/bolts are covered. Do not apply a thick coat. Allow minimum interval of 16 – 18 hours before applying second coat. Subsequent coat may be applied by brush or roller.
